To meet the quality assurance obligations in medical imaging addressed by ASN decision n°2019-DC-0660 of January 15, 2019, BIOMEDIQA supports you in implementing a quality management system.
No certification or label is required to comply with these regulations. This decision, which has been in force since July 1, 2019, concerns the following areas of medical imaging, using ionizing radiation:
Diagnostic nuclear medicine
Dental and conventional radiology
Scanography
Radioguided interventional procedures (RIP) in Img.Inter or BL.OP rooms
For each of the medical imaging fields mentioned, the quality management system must be implemented as follows:
- Implementation of an improvement action plan, in the form of a Medical Physics Organization Plan (POPM) or a Personal Radiation Protection Organization Plan (PORP).
- Applying the principles of justification and optimization
- The feedback process (Rex) or the search for root causes
